I don’t know about you but I’m getting pretty fed up with the crazy fuel prices. The cost of gas here is $1.09 a litre, or over $4 per gallon. The media are saying that we should expect that cost to increase to $1.45 a litre by the summer. Well, of course! That’s when people drive more - when they are on summer holidays.

So now governments and other policy-makers are looking at biofuels (ethanol) as the alternative to quell some of the need to invest in foreign oil. At first, I thought brilliant! This could really work. But I didn’t think about what this could mean to food production, and how people could potentially starve while we use our corn fields for our transportation. No, there has to be a better way.

And there is. Distilled water, baking soda, some materials you can buy from a hardware store or Canadian Tire, etc. at a cost of around $45. Now with Water4Gas, you can learn how to convert your car or truck nto a water hybrid, safely and effectively, and most importantly, you will save money on your cost of gas. A lot of money. Isn’t that worth looking into?

Farmers’ Markets and Pick-Your-Own Farms: Better Food for You

One of my favorite things to do in the warmer months is to visit farmers’ markets for fresh fruits and vegetables. A lot of the farmers’ markets in my area also sell things like fresh home-baked goods, home-made jams, local maple syrup, and all kinds of yummy stuff that you just don’t get at the grocery store chains.

Another option is to go to the pick-your-own farms to pick fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, etc. It’s not my cup of tea, really, as I’m terrified of hornets and bees and those fruits attract them like crazy! But many people enjoy picking large quantities of fresh fruits and veggies and will brave the heat and the bees for the opportunity to get lots of goodness cheaply.

When you buy fruits and vegetables in the grocery stores, you don’t really know where they are coming from. Buying from local farmers gives you the opportunity to get to know who you are buying from, how the crops are grown, and more importantly, you support the local economy.

How often do you buy produce from farmers’ markets or roadside stalls?

Geothermal Heating and Cooling

I have been doing extensive reading on Geothermal energy. In a nutshell, you can extract energy from your own backyard, using one piece of equipment. The most important piece of equipment used to extract this clean, safe, reliable energy is called an earth loop. The earth loop can be either a closed or open loop. The closed loop is made from durable plastic pipe and is buried in the earth or submerged in a lake or pond and transfers heat from a solution through the system. Open loops utilize ground water from wells as heat sources.

What type of terrain exists by the commercial building or residence determines which loop is used. Other factors include the cost of trenching or drilling, the availability of quality ground water and land. Installing a Geothermal system to heat and cool your home is not an inexpensive undertaking, by no means. But I would think the energy savings of between 30-60% would offset the initial expense of implemeting Geothermal energy.

It is also interesting that the same system used to heat your home in winter is used to cool your home in summer, so you would no longer have an unsightly air conditioning unit sitting outside your home.

I’m very excited about the prospect of this system becoming quite popular given our high energy costs. Products like the WaterFurnace, are innovations in alternative energy production. I would like nothing better than to implement a system like this in my home, eliminating the need to use natural gas. Who wouldn’t want a cleaner, safer, more energy-efficient solution in their own home?

Starting a fresh life is all about making changes. Lifestyle changes that impact your health, your finances, your quality of life, need not be frightening and stressful. It’s amazing how just making a few small changes can make a big difference.

After reading How to Go Organic or Natural in 10 Easy, Affordable Steps by Cynthia D. Hunt and Dr. David G. Trybus, D.C., I was more than a little encouraged to start a plan of feeding our family better. The thing is, I’ve always known that most of the conventional foods we eat are not exactly healthy. And where I shop, some of the organic foods cost double what I normally would pay for the regular stuff. How to Go Organic or Natural in 10 Easy, Affordable Steps showed me how to do this AFFORDABLY, by only spending about $3.00 more for each person per week, very simply! But what’s even better is how much more energy I have now that my diet has improved. Now that is something to celebrate.

Water is the fuel of the future!

The oil companies and automobile manufacturers want you to think that water4gas is a scam and that nothing further can be done to improve fuel economy. That simply is not true and people who think outside the box are taking action to implement systems of change for a greener planet.

As fuel prices continue to rise at alarming rates, there has never been a better time to educate ourselves on the subject of fuel economy and using alternative energy to power our vehicles. Water4Gas has published 2 quality e-books that will teach you about extracting hydrogen gas from water to be burned in your engine, and how to build a system that will increase fuel economy.

After purchasing the e-books, I couldn’t wait to show my partner. It took a bit of convincing to get him to believe that this technology actually works. He was really skeptical. The concept of free energy is hard to digest, apparently. But I have always believed that energy should be free and that we owe it ourselves and our children’s future to implement drastic measures to reduce pollution and our energy consumption by using alternative energy sources.

So we are in the process of building a brown gas hydrogen system that will work on any gas burning car or truck by following the step by step process in the books available from Water4Gas. Based on countless of testimonials, my 1994 Chevy Corsica will be running better and more efficiently than ever. I’ll keep you posted during the testing process.
